You may want to actually read the article. He states that he’d have picked the version of Canelo that those guys faced to win, but doesn’t believe this current version of Canelo is the same guy. Pretty obvious Canelo has slipped. What you’re saying is equivalent to someone wondering how Leonard couldn’t be stopped by Hearns, Duran or Hagler, but was stopped by Camacho.
From the resident Canelo hater. I usual don't say the word hate too lightly, but the hate is strong with you flower.
Tony Harrison already took his zero. You might be thinking of the other, even more inactive brother.
My bad, yes other bro I'm thinking of. But it will be a good win, charlo will be campaigning as a 175 fighter one-day I'm sure, charlo a good fighter when all is said and done
Im seeing this goes the distance. There both 33- Charlo doesn't back down and seems fresher. Canelo doesn't back down either. Has years of experience at 168+ weight. Canelo is actually the fresher fighter in reality, Charlo hasn't fought 15-16 months, moving up 14 lbs against, a guys who's had shown one of the best chins in boxing against some of the biggest punchers in boxing.
Charlo a good solid boxer good puncher @154, he wasent steam rolling @154 super Welterweight.
He doesn't come off as a overly slick style fighter that's gonna dazzle or snake charm Canelo with style. James a good trainer if he is doubtful from my view.
Knocking out Canelo seems like a tall order at any weight anytime regardless of Charlos current intangibles
Does this fight do (1M) PPVs?
PBC was so slow to make Davis - Garcia / Crawford - Spence / Tzyu - Charlo lol. Made Charlo - Canelo quick and paid alot to do it. Supposedly paying Canelo $35M, kinda hard to believe they could make money if that's the case? They have to pay Charlo his big payday as well right. Will they even show the PPV #s
