US heavyweight athletes feel they'd be better off to wear a helmet and pads or even bounce a ball.

yea i think it is against the law in America for a student to wear boxing gloves and participate in the sport of boxing anymore. Might be why there are so many shootings inside of schools if kids could work out there dif in three minute rounds it might help not hurt.

Probably a bit more to the school shootings than that. We generally don't have boxing in school in Canada, but we don't have school shootings.
