If Canelo and Bud Crawford both win their next fight are they going to fight each other at 168??

Will someone pay for it? That's going to be a fight with huge purses for the fighters, and correspondingly harder to make money on. Would also be a bad look for Canelo if he does that fight instead of David Morrell and David Benavidez, his WBA and WBC mandatories. I hope he doesn't. We should get a pretty good idea about it if the PBC talking heads bring up Crawford a lot during the Charlo fight or Canelo gets a lot of time being sold as a possible opponent during the Spence rematch. I would rather see Crawford fight Mell and Canelo fight the Davids, but it will likely depend on what PBC views as the biggest money fights, because they're going to try to cash out on Canelo as much as they can.Comment

And I think Crawford is great fighter , but weightclasses exist for a reason
Crawford can't hurt this 168 pound version of Canelo. Canelo has a great Chin. Tested against middleweights , supermiddleweights , and light heavy weights.
And Canelo eventually is gonna catch crawford and knock him out.
Canelo is slipping ? Yes of course. But even this version of Canelo is like a 100 times better that errol spence.
