He lost to a guy who was 3-2 when he was in his prime - Fortune was a talentless bum in his day and he'd be a talentless bum today. He was also tiny.

If Fortune were fighting today, he'd be getting knocked out in the untelevised opening fight of a Top Rank card from Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Is he your uncle or what?

I first heard about him in the Howard Stern Danny Bonaduce vs Bob Levy boxing match. Justin Fortune was Dannys trainer.

you should check out the fight, really high quality

Then your point is very far off the mark.

A 5'9 heavyweight that couldn't punch and was knocked out by multiple tomato cans, like Fortune was, would not have been a contender in any era, including the current one.

Fortune was a million times worse than any D-list heavyweight we have today. Someone like Chris Arreola would easily taken him apart. He was tiny and had no power.

I hear he's a good trainer. Good for him. He was not a good boxer.

Charles Martin was a Heavyweight champion. The dude could barely stand Up without being off balance. Ngannou can run through this division up to Parker, maybe a Little lower.

He was most likely was a natural heavyweight due to big bone structure. Like Mike Tyson... Why else torture yourself if it's not your natural weight.
