Not a bad opponent overall but only 6 KOs from 33 fights. Azim's last opponent before this only had 5 KOs from 23 fights. Don't like to see prospects matched like that as they will learn bad habits fighting guys who can't hurt them.

Exactly...Azim got hit FAR too often for my liking in his last fight and although he looks like the real deal, I'll reserve judgement until he faces a REAL puncher (just like Khan vs. Prescott). Having said that, McGuigan claims he's the most talented fighter he's ever worked with and bar Fannian, he's impressed me with every single performance to date.

        Probably why they dodged Dalton.

I see two English wins here, but have to feel sorry for both Denzil Bentley & Harlem Eubank who we're both nominated though. Hopefully if Adam & Tyler come though successfully we get Bentley Vs Denny for British & European & Dalton Smith Vs Azim with the triple crown of British, Commonwealth & European championships at stake. Good to see these guy's going down the traditional EBU route & not messing about with IBF/WBO European alphabet soup bauble's!!.......

Yeah I want to see him face a real puncher like Dalton because so far his chin is the only thing that remains untested. However, the same thing could be said about Smith and Azim hits hard too so it’ll be a great test for both men.

There was another similar prospect a few years ago Adil Anwar. He had the same hands down style, a few early career ko wins, undefeated record. And then he ran into a right hand *kaboom* career done.
If Azim doesn't change, he is gonna follow script.

Tbh I think that Azim is much more talented compared to Anwar...he has the speed, power and athleticism of a TOP prospect given that he's just 21yo. However, like I said before, until we know whether he can take one on the whiskers it's difficult to say how far he'll go. Also, unfortunately for him, there's ADDITIONAL pressure on his shoulders given that his fellow countryman Khan had a biscuit chin.
