Shakur just started to get mainstream attention on a wider level so any offer Shakur would get he'd not want to take. The harsh reality is he's not worth as much yet as he, his manager & definitely his promoter would want. Tank has 6M IG followers, 590k twitter followers. Shakur has 1M IG followers, 230k twitter followers. This sh^t seems silly to most I'm sure & I don't entirely disagree tbh, but popularity is a provable thing these days with followers & clicks & etc. Shakur needs to get his numbers up if he don't want another 75/25 offer & I'm sure he don't want that. This is about selling now not how good you are in the ring.

Thats said it'd be cool if someone was running this sport who cared about the sport first & foremost. Then we'd be seeing this fight soon (& others ppl want now) or have already seen it. But since boxing is a business first esp at this level this fight makes no sense to all parties yet & probably won't for another yr or two.

I think anyone who's got 150k-200k or more buys as the A side in a PPV fight is a star. I think when you get into the 500k or more buys region the B side even has some star level or star potential. When you do 1M or more buys both guys got star status or the A side guy is insanely popular with casuals. Thats in todays numbers anyway. Back in the day it was different cuz streaming was less of a problem & there was less competition for ppl's time.

maybe u could offer yourself 1% of ppv sales or a really low flat fee plus impose a voluntary catchweight of 132 + hydration clause

or maybe u should have just taken the haney offer of 25% for undisputed and taken your chances
