Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman Says He Is Aiming For 'Two Fights and An Exhibition' Next Year

Keith Thurman is hoping his prizefighting fortunes change, if not now, then at least next year. The former unified welterweight champion from Clearwater, Florida, has been plagued by inactivity for the past several years, with his last fight coming in February of last year, when he outpointed Mario Barrios by unanimous decision.

Of course he’d be looking for an exhibition.

Anything but fighting tough fights like Boots Ennis.

Keef's just a walking, talking, no-fighting meme these days. 10yrs is such a long time – back when he looked like the real deal against Chaves.

He should have moved to 154 and got a head start. He could have been in Tim tszyu position right now.

Instead he wasted away. And now 147 is in rebuild mode after bud destroyed errol

Keith Thurman is the Conner McGregor of Boxing: made a bag, and is too lazy to fight, but can't stop talking about fighting.

Thurman is way to injury prone to be able to actually meet those aims he's set for himself next year.
What's wrong with him fighting one more time this year, and twice next year, which would be a more realistic plan?
