LOL yea thats what he reallllllllllllly said here. We all know the odds he gets in the ring 3x in 2024 is like an NFL team that started 0-7 making it to the playoffs. Its possible, just not very likely. But what he said really said is I'm not fighting in 2023 at all so its gonna be 2yrs from his last fight to next one AT MINIMUM now.

And I kinda gotta ask wtf is even the point. I mean Keef is a talented guy. He'd beat guys ranked in the top ten if he'd fought them in 2023. Why is he not even fighting. If he's not fighting why not retire. Dude is 3/4's out of the sport. Just leave or fight the fight you want & then leave.

I legit think Bud is going big or going home. He's old. He's done what he's wanted to do for yrs now with getting all the 147 belts. I think he's doing big sh^t or nothing. I wouldn't be shocked if he retired tomorrow & we've seen his last fight already. I think he's got 0-2 fights left & there's 3 names he'll fight. Errol again, Mell at 154 or 168 or The biggest name in the game at 168.

That's his problem! The fights he want, are fights that nobody is asking to see! Nobody wants to see Thurman fighting Crawford, Spence, or Charlo! They want to see him fight Vergil, Boots, and Stanionis, and he feels he's too BIG for them guys!

His last fight was in February of 2022 after a long layoff. 0 chance he’s this active next year.

True. He wants the money guys not the future potential money guys who'll get there off a W over him lol.

Maybe that Errol vs Keef grudge fight can happen if the Bud rematch doesn't happen. I don't see Mell or Bud wasting their time with him tho. If Errol isn't down he might as well retire or fight Boots or Stanionis tho.

If you combine 'Mall an Keef you'd get Andre 3000, depressed and playing flute instead of doing what he's supposed to be doing.

Ten years from now, Thurman will be seen stopping passersby on the street, reminding them that he will fight the next month.
