If Lopez truly wants the Inoue matchup, then he should unify with Ramirez because a unified champion would be more appealing to Inoue. Furthermore, there's four champions at featherweight so Inoue could pick, which ever one.

Inoue will likely go up to feather weight in 2025, so those who want the big purse there has a simple goal: have belt(s) on them come beginning of 2025. A faster and bigger purse chance if unified at this point.

Tapales and Butler are/were able to get the big bucks not because they were the best of the weight, it is because they had the belts when Inoue was on his belt chase mode.
