Zhang was knocked down the ref missed it and he was stunned a few times . It won’t be the shots that get Zhang out it will be the energy Joyce zaps away from him and he’ll most likely won’t be defending well late in this one . Unless Joyce eye swells again which is unlikely before he stops Zhang I don’t see Zhang winning this .

Not really a swelled eye is accumulated damage, getting caught in boxing happens a lot swollen eye stoppages aren’t usually in the minds of fighter’s they’re two different things . When Joyce defeated DDD it was late in the fight and I saw he was getting out boxed he won the same way Zhang did . The difference is Zhang was out pointing him but Joyce was starting to shift momentum, if Zhang doesn’t close an eye I highly doubt you get the same results here I’m not bipuying it off one fight when other fights tell me otherwise unless it happens again .

The thing is doe, Zhang is actually a very good fighter. If he ever got a shot at fury I'd put money on him to win.

You know Zhang is going right for that eye again. The question is what will Joe do different to mitigate that? Move his head? Unlikely. He would have to have the ear muffs on all night

Joyce wasn't really landing much of significance against ZZ. Zhang's defense is really underrated. For a huge guy, he does a very good job of using body defenses against shots.

I didn't say it's literally the same thing. What I'm saying is, a busted up eye is a consequence of boxing similarly as getting caught with a good KO shot is. If it doesn't happen, the outcome of the fight will likely be different. Joyce doesn't have good defense. He relies on taking his opponent's best shots and the opponent not taking his best shots. As Zhang said, Joe made his job easy. At this stage in the game, it's unlikely that he will suddenly discover head movement and elusiveness. I see a similar outcome, if Zhilei is able to consistently land punches, without getting caught himself.
