Nothing wrong with that. Just get back up, learn from the lesson, make improvements, and keep going.

All the people that claim being undefeated shouldn’t matter are being hypocrites if they are crapping on Canelo for this loss.
True, and Canelo is not even a super middleweight. He is 5ī8. He should fight at 154. He gives his oponent an advantage, thatīs how good he is.

When Canelo went up to face Bivol, it was done to give the appearance of chasing greatness, while avoiding David Benavidez at the same time, because the drums were beating loudly for that fight, and Canelo got tired of hearing it, because he had no intention to fight him. He looked at Bivol and saw a cherry he thought he could pick. He thought he could time Bivol, thought he could do a lot of sh.t to him, but that wasn't true at all. That was the cherry pick from hell.
After he got spanked back to 168, he fought GGG and won, beat John Ryder, and now he's facing Charlo. He'll fight anyone in order to avoid Benavidez. Mentally, it seems like there's something about Benavidez that makes Canelo prefer to avoid facing him. The "Horrible fighter" Demetrius Andrade gives Canelo the Willie's, too

When Uncle Al calls for the fight it'll happen, in the meantime hopefully benatacobell and doodoo can grow a pair and fight each other. And I'm sure Canelo is scared of a"monster "who couldn't ko Canelo's leftover.

You’re too ****** to have a boxing conversation with. I remember when you claimed that Chavez Jr beat Martinez. Go away douche bag.

"He fought in a weight class he didn't belong." Amazing how quickly the tune changed after the Bivol fight. ****ers here were literally thinking he could takeover at CW too and compete at HW. Beterbiev was a stiff Russian who Canelo would fold with body shots. Feels like some of you guys think that we forgot all that talk.

Canelo is one of those guys who has haters and fanboys, few inbetween. I am in between. He is a talented fighter with a legendary chin, good power and he isn't a runner. But, he is also a drug cheat, he should have more losses on his record and he has worn out the chasing greatness silliness.

At this point he would be doing more to build his legacy to fight Benavidez, rather than trying to pull cruisers down to 180, and pulling inactive 154 guys up to 168. It easy to see, as he was doing when he cherry picked Bivol after talking about Biev for months.

He is a damn good fighter who was made the face of boxing by Oscar and who got decisions based on that overhyped status. He isn't an all time great or near the level of Floyd or Pac. And that make his fanboys nuts.

Losses mean very little. Liam Smith best c hrisy eubank, so people concluded Liam Smith was a better fighter. Now eubanks beat smith, eubanks is the better fighter and just had off night.
Some may think Floyd's better h2h than pac, but once pac beat floyd in rematch, people would assume pac just had off night, many think pac won first fight as it is.
So again, losses mean very little, other than you were better on the day, or luckier on the day. Bivols not greater than nelo, anymore than Floyd's greater than Nell because they have a win over nelo

There’s no “appearance” of anything. Either Bivol is a tough fight to take or he is not. Which one is it?

He lied after he lost to Bivol, that was his instinctive ego protecting his wounded pride.
I remember the promoters making such a big show with Canelo wearing a crown, a royal looking cape, standing atop a pedestal.
This was all done next to the ring just before the start of the fight, such a dramatic scene, they had no idea that Canelo was just about to be defeated.
That said he deserves some credit for finally admitting the truth, but he deserves to be loathed for not having the decency to agree that Bivol should get a bigger split for the rematch.
It was his arrogant way of still trying to humble if not humiliate Bivol, outside of the ring through financial negotiations.
Since he knew deep down inside that he couldn't do it inside of the ring in a fight.
