Pacquiao might've come second in the fight against Floyd but is definitely no.1 in terms of CAREER achievements i.e. more divisional titles, more lineal titles, 4 decade champion etc. That's undeniable.

He also won his first world title at Flyweight (18lbs lower than Floyd) so is the much smaller man which makes his achievements even MORE impressive.

A washed up version of Floyd easily dominated a younger version but also war torn and previously ko'd version of Pacquiao. There's no way you can rationalize that fact away.

Cool but this is the first thread I’ve ever made about the Mayweather/Pacquiao rivalry and can understand why fans prefer either fighter. In fact, I agreed with Silence’s comment about Floyd being the better boxer whereas Pacquiao is the better fighter.

Having said that, Pacquiao’s career accomplishments are definitely superior based on FACTS e.g. more divisional titles, more lineal titles, 4 decade champion, going from 112lbs > 154 lbs vs. 130lbs > 154lbs for Mayweather whereas saying Floyd ‘is the best of his generation’ is just an OPINION.
