Comments Thread For: Team Schofield: "Keyshawn Davis Knows What We'll Do To Him!"

To a portion of the boxing world, Keyshawn Davis looks like he has next. He hasn't fought the best of the best as of yet but the former Olympic silver medalist passes the eye test. The most important thing for Davis is to eventually fight for a world title. In the midst of vying for one, however, the 24-year-old is hoping to knock off a few of his young contemporaries.

Hopefully Floyd gets the winner of Zepeda vs. Gesta! I know Floyd has been calling out Keyshawn for quite some time, and the fight hasn't happened, so I won't hold my breath! I just hope GBP can get him a fight with someone ranked in the Top 15!

It’s funny when the fighter father does more talking than the fighter himself and makes mistakes by saying what the other fighter ain’t! Keyshawn not my favorite guy and he does talk way to much as he fight a bunch of stiffs, but he does have skills punch with bad intentions and can move quite well so that’s a nightmare for any good fighter so I say that to say Schofield dad full of real ****tttt!

Schofield pops shouldn’t be calling another young talented fighter “garbage”.. he should learn to be more complimentary while he also makes it clear his young charge is the better fighter.. his Dad needs to grow up or keep his mouth shut.

Schofield vs K. Davis, would be a dynamite fight until one knocks out the other. I would have to pick Davis to put out the lights on the Schofield Kid.
Simply because he's fought the better opposition up to this point in their careers, and you only get better by the level of the opposition that your facing.
They are both damn good fighters, and I enjoy watching them fight, because they're skilled fighters, with plenty of heart, who are committed to win.

I don't know if these guys can even get past Muratalla. Raymond is the guy to look forward to in this division.

I think it's 50/50 fight! I really like "Kid Austin," but I worry that he's not going to get the kind of opposition he needs to grow! I worry about that with Xander Zayas too! Keyshawn has plenty of work available at Top Rank @ 135-140!

I like the "Schofield Kid" also, but he's wanting to go against Davis sooner than he should be even thinking about it!
Xander Zayas on the other hand, should put on a masterful performance in dismantling Valenzuela, or fans are going to start wondering just like you are.
The way he plies his trade in this fight, and more importantly who his next opponent after this one will tell us exactly where his career is headed!
He should've stopped Cruz, Lavallais, and Sanchez, he had them all on the brink of at least having the referee intervene, but he didn't press the action.
Davis is headed to a world title fight within the next 2-3 fights, whether he wins or not will depend who he's challenging for the championship!
It looks like a damn good fight card up, and down the ticket, ESPN+ is just about the best streaming channel for boxing, as far as the dollar value goes!

I don't know if Schofield would knock Keyshawn out, but he has the skillset to win, but Davis does as well. It definitely seems as if Keyshawn wants to avoid that fight so as not to have the possibility of getting pushed off the fast track to the championship that Top Rank has planned.
