This fight must have some kind of curse on it, not that I believe in that mumbo jumbo. These two fighters have been slated to fight each other more times than I can remember. As many times as it's been scheduled to take place that's how many times it has never actually taken place, or the fight ever reached a final conclusion.
So I'll believe it, when I actually see it happen, and there is a winner declared inside of the boxing ring.

Arroyo has been inactive since 2021, don't know if this is going to have the fireworks of the first fight.

The first fight was action packed with both fighters hitting the deck, but it ended up being declared a no contest, due to an accidental headbutt.
The question is can Arroyo put up an effective effort as he did in their first go round, with almost two years of inactivity, while Martinez has remained active during that time? I still want to see that fight take place, just to see if it turns out to be just as explosive as in their first fight.

I don't either, and how is it that he's still an interim champion if he hasn't fought in close to two year's.
There is something seriously wrong with the state of boxing when things like this are allowed to occur.
That's actually holding the belt hostage for that length of time, when other fighters could've been fighting for it, and defending it.
Lets hope that they're able to put on a great battle for the fans to make them forget that this sort of crap is allowed to happen.

That rematch got so many postponements and cancellation that it lost it luster. Some fighters just get away with so much.

It sure has gotten postponed, and cancelled to many times, so much so that I thought that it wasn't ever going to get rescheduled.
That said it has been rescheduled yet again, so I am looking forward to seeing if Arroyo has maintained his fighting form, and can give the fans a rousing fight.
If for any reason they fight can't take place yet again, that have to forget about this particular match completely.
