Well, I don't want to get into too many details or else it will be obvious who it is. But he has been ranked #1 by WBC and IBF for quite some time now, (IBF since 2021) and #2 with the WBO. All four belts are with PBC, he is with PBC. WBC hasn't called one I don't think, because Mauricio seems to make it up as he goes along.
So, pretty ****ing in line lol.
The only one I can think of who comes close to fitting this description is Cody Crowley but he only just recently was made #1 with the WBC.
Welterweight was on hold because of Spence and Bud for a long time.
So are we saying Ortiz doesn't deserve this fight? Based on what? Martin tucking tail and running from Shakur and getting a gift against some German nobody had ever ****ing heard of?
It's fine though. Frank will turn this one down too, and everyone will just make "money" or "promotion" excuses for him while he sits on his hands inactive like the rest of PBC,
Neither has belt so the fight makes sense but it’s just funny to me that now fighters talk more after a lost then a win.
