Shakur being former champs in lower weight divisions, I can understand him wanting the bigger percentage but at 140lbs I can’t agree wholeheartedly. 50/50 sounds about right to me. Joking but Shakur is in his Tyson Fury bag.

That's not a duck - Stevenson is a risky fight and it's not like he's a superstar. 50/50 against Tank would be a clear duck. Usyk didn't demand 50% - he accepted 30% which was fine. Lets see who else takes 35/40% to fight Shakur - when they have absolutely no need to - unless he has 3/4 belts in a division. My guess? Only those desperate for a payday - a faded name or a no-hoper. Martin still hopes to be a belt holder at 135 - he can make more money fighting Tank or some other pbc fighter.

To be honest Shakur should've just bent over and accepted a 50/50 split given how difficult he's finding it to secure decent competition. Otherwise, he's going to keep facing mediocre opposition and not GROW as a fighter.
