He wouldn't go near Bud at 147 when Crawford was calling out all the PBC welters. If Danny beats Lara and gets a title at 160 that could be a good fight for Bud if he is serious about fighting Canelo at 168.

We don't know this. If the money is right, and if he can make weight, it's not out of the question to fight at 147. However, I believe his best money fights are at a higher weight.

What I mean is that Boots Ennis is the only 'meaningful' fight left at 147lbs. He'd be taking out the top young lion contender and heir apparent of the WW division. That is meaningful to his fight legacy, but any other fight at WW means what? Also, if Crawford does stay at WW and fights anybody but Boots, then that will just give his detractors the opportunity to say he's ducking the next best WW in the world - and there would be legitimacy to that criticism. Right now, few fans are demanding that Crawford face Boots, but only because he's got bigger fighters (money and legacy-wise) on his radar. Crawford is definitely done with WW.

Danny never got KOd and has good skills, but Crawford will figure him out probably and win decision. KO unlikely.

I can't stand the inactivity of today's fighters .....This would be a good fight that makes sense for both guys , I am team DSG but its like you said he has been forgotten ..
