Once he gets hit and realises his power, it would be survival mode on for the niigga

I'm in agreement with Garcia in this because I see the drop off in Canelo as well, especially in the Golovkin bout.
Canelo has always had questionable stamina and his style as he's aged has devolved more and more into a plodding dynamic where he attempts to walk his man down and deliver calculated body shots in an effort to take away their legs and wear them out. It's been successful because he has had the luxury of choosing opponents who CAN'T PUNCH and have mediocre boxing ability and resumes as well as inactivity. This is why he is avoiding Benavides. Benavides has been active, has a VERY GOOD, Make that Elite gas tank, and he is constantly pressing and throwing heavy punches to the head and body. Canelo doesn't have the stamina or fire power to keep a young, Legitimate Puncher like Benavides off of him and he doesn't have the legs to avoid Him for 12 rounds.
Charlo is a cherry pick that may come back to haunt Canelo because he's an aggressive high octane fighter as well with a durable gas tank and endurance and Charlo can adapt after he reads his opponent as the fight goes on. He also hits hard and from unorthodox angles.
If Charlo can handle this weight well enough, don't let his emotions lead him into making a costly mistake, he can definitely win this fight because he has all the tools necessary to do so.
This could be a shocker but I wouldn't be surprised personally speaking.

I don’t think anyone can deny there’s been a drop off with canelo. He can get a pass for being washed by bivol because bivol is elite and just better than canelo. But when we saw a well past prime ggg, who had to dig deep to beat Murota, win 4 of the last 5 rounds against Canelo at 40 yrs old, it was clear. But if you needed further proof, then we saw a C level Brit take Canelo to the end after being hurt early in the fight and then put hands all over canelo in the later rounds and marking him up. If charlo can carry the weight well, this is going to be a case where Canelo’s risk management approach could backfire on him.

I really believe Canelo’s team is not ****** they know why they chose Jermell, 16 months layoff cause by hand injury. Now coming in weight after a hand injury. Seems kind of opportunistic to me.
