I love this narrative that Loma ducked Haney. He fought a unification for undisputed with the IBF champ Lopez instead, FFS. By that logic, Usyk should fight Hrgovic instead of Fury, because it's more important to fight your mandatory than it is to unify the division.

If you consider all the facts its clear.

Loma and Bob requested the emeritus thing once Haney was in line for the mando. When called on it by Dan Rafael, Loma got caught blatantly lying that he was unaware when he was in on it.

He could’ve defended against Haney the same way he did Crolla. Instead he waited for the Teo fight because he didn’t want to risk losing the big payday.
