Both of them have 3 loses but only one is looked at in high regard. Aj defeated a more notable opponent but Loma is respected way more how come ?
Why does the Boxing world have more respect for Loma than Anthony Joshua ?

AJ hasn't fought either of the guys the world wanted. Fury and Wilder
Loma fought young undefeated guys that he could have avoided. Russell jr, Teofimo, Haney

One ducked his mandatory, the other never ducked a mandatory.
So, no, I don't get it.
With all the criticism leveled at the current number one heavyweight... you'd think people might finally appreciate that there was a guy who unified and who fought mandatories to try to keep alive the dream of making an Undisputed fight.
it's not easy maintaining 3 belts. You've really got to want to be Undisputed to put up with 3 orgs dictating who you fight.
You don't have to rate his ability to respect what he was trying to do.Comment

Narrowing it down to "both have 3 losses" is laughable.
AJ got sparked out out by a replacement fighter, beat up by Usyk who barely moved into HW, then lost a rematch after a lengthy prep. Also worth mentioning that he's very lucky to survive Wlad fight.
Loma losses are in his 2nd pro fight against a much heavier fighter who threw rabbit punches and low blows. His 2nd loss was a semi-questionable close decision where he threw 5 punches/round in the first 6, then was dominant in 6-11. His third loss was a widely agreed on robbery against Haney, who was again significantly bigger and younger than him.Comment

Its called entitlement. There's always an excuse for Loma, but AJ gets spat on and kicked in his ass after each loss. Joshua actually held onto his 3 belts and fought his mandatories to try for undisputed, while Loma had his hand held and walked into championship fights from the second fight in his career. To say that Joshua avoids fighters, you would actually have to cover your eyes to how Loma has ducked and dodged Shakur.Comment

You just said the reason why he lost, why is it a semi questionable close decision?Narrowing it down to "both have 3 losses" is laughable.

how do u measure respect from the 'boxing world'?
what the hell is it anyway? u could argue that loma is one of the most crapped on fighters over the last decade, both loma and AJ got decent hype as u would expect, no different than any other guys and less than some i would say, AJ clearly has worse loses and had a very funny breakdown too, loma is a higher level figher than AJ tooComment
