They're also much better boxer's too so he won't be able to outbox them either. Therefore, his best hope is that they either vacate the belts and move up or he tries his hand at 160lbs which is a much weaker division and far easier for him to grab a belt.
no matter what Billi boy is a fun fighter to watch he has the instincts killer instincts in the ring, he has skills he is at the point of his age 28 where he is a prime spot to make a move and take some chances to be challenged by whoever he fights as long as he takes chances in the match ups it will nice to see him develop more in the ring.

Agreed although he hasn’t fought anybody of note to date. I’d like to see him face Caleb Plant next who’s an ex-champion with decent power. If he can make a statement against him he’ll be in a good position to challenge Canelo/Benavidez.

Make this make sense. If I remember correctly, he's been fighting guys that are ranked 40 and below. I think his most recent win was against a fighter ranked 82 by Boxrec. If he somehow gets a Canelo fight it would a filler fight around February like Yildirim was. This guy does not deserve a title shot considering the level of opposition he's fought.

That was a crazy knockout though, Desmond fell like a piece of plywood.

To be fair I haven’t seen him fight. But if he’s legit okay cool. But if it’s just the WBC trying to get Canelo another body, that’s a shame.

It was a good read but Lac Beauport is near Quebec City not Montreal.
