The idea that he’d make more against Ngannou than against AJ or Usyk is simply a lie. He doesn’t want the risk.

There's no defending Fury's position if you are a fan of boxing. Fury's actions bring the sports reputation into disrepute. Not all of boxings issue's lie at his feet but the integrity of the heavyweight division does.

A lineal and WBC heavyweight champion preforming a circus act in the middle of his prime is acceptable why? Because he'll be able to line his pockets. How does that benefit the fans of the sport.

The WBC are complicit in the farce but I'm not shocked. There corruption and favouritism is well documented dating back decade's.

Anyone else notice that he tries to sell his Ngannou fight as being a competitive boxing match, but then he says he would have no problem beating Ngannou in a freaking cage? Fury v Wilder III was scary & Fury said he was worried that, down the road, it would have life-changing consequences. TF never wants to have a war like that again. Equally, he likes the fame & the money that comes with being champion. Also, I think, boxing is good for TF. He is one of those guys, like Kell Brook, who needs the discipline & focus. If Tyson or Kell don't have a settled training regime they liable to get into bad situations. So TF wants to keep on boxing but no longer take dangerous fights!
