I must admit that JCCJ has fought bums and is yet to be proven.
But know that he want's to fight Martinez and prove himself people here say he doesn't deserve to fight him. Whether we want him to prove himself or not??

True that he didn't have an amateur background so they were building him in pro, similar to the current P4P king Manny Pacquiao.

Did everybody forget that Pacman had somthing like 39 or 40 victories with 1 defeat against bums, until he fought Barrera and actually won and look how great that career turned out.

I'm not a fan of JCCJ and by any means I'm saying that he will have the same success as Manny, actually I'm one of the people that beleive he should start to fight good competition to prove himself.

The fight with Martinez can show us who really JCCJ is or will be in the wolrd of Boxing.

I'm getting tired of hearing the excuse that Chavez Jr. doesn't have that many amateur fights. There are plenty of fighters who that is true with. Look at Paul Williams. The reason that Arum won't throw this kid in a dangerous fight is he's not that good. End of story.

Troy who? I'll tell you what Chavez has. He has no jab, he doesn't give up his height to fight inside. That's just what happens when you lead with your face.

Hey man Chavez Sr. fought great opposition!

Chavez Jr. on the other hand, he's fought nothing but bums and even more bums!

this article is a joke and so is jcc jr. he's fighting a nobody to protect him like always and the main reason he's on the under card is to bring more mexicans to the payperview.this gives arum more leverage to **** up the winner of pac vs cotto fighting pbf mega fight.its about the numbers.

i agree, usually a good fighter gets a world title shot by their 20th fight.

Come on guys. He has fought no high quality opponents but he is good to watch. It's just frustrating waiting for him to up his opposition level. The skills are there but no idea on his mental fortitude.
