...with one arm. What does Vitali do when his arm hurts?

Wladimir Ko's Booker like he did with Ross Puritty?

But more importantly: fights are won when two fighters meet each other in the ring....not who got the common opponent out first.

Lets hope Vitali survives Rahman, and faces Toney next after, we can find out where his place with the current heavyweights is.

What's Toney going to do in the meantime? Fight another couple of bums in the heavyweight division blow up his record so that people continue to think he is the greatest heavyweight to come around in 15 years? If Vitali defeats Rahman and Lewis holds true to his word Vitali will be fighting Lewis later in the year. Toney will not get a chance at Vitali, that is why he should focus on fighting Ruiz or Byrd.

If Toney did not injure himself, he would have won by KO. The ref could easily have stopped it before the end.

Also, you guys are overrating Sanders just a hair. He is not the second best heavyweight out there.

it seems that some people just hate toney, and no matter how many people he beats he will never gain there respect. but i can't wait to see him beat Bryd and VK just to show every one he is the real deal

Why do you say that? It's not like he has a long list of wins at heavyweight!

i've been watching toney since 1991 and he is by far the best boxer in the hw division, in the booker fight (which was his first fight after injury) he got injured in the first round, but still went the distance and won every round. what did vitali do against byrd? time will tell but if he loses against vitali or any other hw this year you can all take the piss out of me for backing toney. everybody is so hung up on klitchko that when someone gets him in the ring and makes him look the bum he is, this forum will go deathly quiet, it'll be like pac losing! ha ha.

...Look no further than Toney/Jirov to see where Toney stands. Jirov got pounded and was easily outboxed by Mesi until Mesi ran out of steam. Moorer hurt him with big punches throughout the fight and when he put a couple together he showed that Jirov is no true heavyweight and can't take a heavyweight punch. Jirov gave Toney a fit for the entire fight and most feel the scoring was BS and it was anyones fight until the last round that Toney took control of and dropped Jirov at the end. For Toney to struggle with Jirov is a sure sign he is in deep **** if he ever fights a legit heavy in his prime. And yeah, obviously that excludes Evander in his current state.

you think jirov was in the fight till the last round? i must be watching a different fight. toney schooled his ass for the entire fight, alot of jirov's punches were blocked or missed. i'm a toney fan but i'm no schoolboy nuthugger and i knew as soon as the fight was signed jirov was beaten.
