That’s probably for multiple reasons. 1. Oscar let’s the coke speak for him often. 2. Oscar played a major role in making canelo a star, Hearn did not. 3. Oscar and canelo had major Ppv success as a team so that was a massive financial loss for golden boy. Despite what Hearn is saying in this article about the money, Canelo was ridiculously overpaid with dazn and didn’t come anywhere near to ever selling 1 mil Ppv’s with them or returning the type of profit they expected.

I'm sure Canelo's fights made a ton of money for DAZN from subscriptions all over the world, which is why they welcomed him back with open arms after his first spell away. The difference between Hearn and De La Hoya is that one is a rational, level headed business man and the other is an emotional coke addict. That’s probably for multiple reasons. 1. I disagree. All of Canelo’s events with dazn have underachieved their expectations. It’s well document that dazn has lost a significant amount of money in recent years and overpaying boxers, especially canelo is a major reason why.

You mean you ran out of British cab drivers, fighting as Matchroom side kicks for him to fight. That and your wealthy paymaster said enough of you spending his money like a drunken football fan. That’s what really happened. Right Eddie? Oops, should I refers to you as Mr. Eddie Hearn lolComment
