Especially if Anderson's career goes well and in couple of years and the top dogs of HW div retire and/or age.
Plus there's lack of new HW talent.

Yea good point. All these top guys are gonna be aging out in the next few yrs as Jared gets on the bigger stage. There could be an easier path to big money & being The Man. And maybe there is that one super fight looming at the end of the rainbow of easy defenses vs a Jalolov, or some other talent who rises up in the next few yrs, that could make retirement seem like less of the move to make. Bottom line is there are far too many variables in play here to really know what the layout or what Jared's own mindset could look like in 4yrs.

To paraphrase a Tyson line everyone gots a plan to retire til they get a check with too many zero's on it. Or another quote if you wanna see god laugh tell him your plans.

You don't have to like it or agree with it but Anderson is being naive about the financial opportunities of boxing.

Furthermore, it's people's choice to make comments on public quote's. What type of hypocrisy are you spouting? You expect Anderson to speak freely but no one else?

If you care so much about Anderson go ask him for a job.

Anderson doesn't have the personality and social media savvy to promote himself, or a marketing team capable of tricking the public into believing he's a star. In other words, I don't think he has the luxury of cherry-picking his way to fame & fortune, and based on his recent comments on the sport, I'm not sure that he has the mental strength to reach stardom the hard way. It's a shame, cause he has a combination of power, skill and athleticism that could make him the best American heavyweight if he actually wants to be. Hopefully, he gets his head on straight and doesn't waste his potential.
