So, Anderson says he doesn't love the sport, wants to retire @ 27 and doesn't care about being the undisputed champ; but he just wants the big money. Well, how the hell does he think he's going to make said big money, by continuing to fight tomato cans? Kid, you ain't making big money without beating the big names in the division who hold the belts. You'll never make a $10 million purse fighting the fry cooks and cab drivers who box in their spare time.

Exactly. I don't think fans are considering this largely & I doubt Jared can really put himself in a position to think about the type of money that could be in play. If he has $2M & gets offered $5M to fight after his 27th birthday does he turn that down? Sheeeeet what if things don't go as expected & he's got $100k at 27 & gets offered $100k for a fight? There's a million scenarios & a boxer predicting his retirement age has a horrible success rate. So I'd bet the over all day Jared has his last fight at 27. But I'd love to see him do exactly as he's planning cuz I think more guys should retire too early rather than too late as is more typical.

Especially if Anderson's career goes well and in couple of years and the top dogs of HW div retire and/or age.
Plus there's lack of new HW talent.

Out of the fighters we're supposed to be taking seriously, I can't think of anyone whos said more dumb s--t this year than this guy.

You dont love the sport.
You want to retire at the point where most fighters are just hitting their prime.
He talks about boxing as if its beneath him.
You only want the money not the glory, accomplishments and lasting legacy that comes with them.
You don't even Care to become a world champion.

perhaps there are levels to the man's apathy. every time Anderson opens his mouth he cares a little less but he still cares a little bit, though this may change in the future

HW is a bad division, if you are not a world champ, you are nowhere. I have a feeling he believes he is some Gervonta Davis of hw division and that he can make millions without having any true belt. Won`t happen.

What real belt does Gervonta have presently, I didn’t think so their all held by Devin, y’all some sucker MF’ers I tell you, because he’s a Pay Per View attraction was a champion and they still market him as one against so so fighters too.
