Holyfield fought on the inside against Tyson. put his head on Tyson's chest trading body shots

    Usyk doesn't fight like that.

The Mike Tyson of the late 80's, and pretty much the entirety of the 90's would beat Usyk.

Too much power, too much aggression, and Mike Tyson's hand speed and closing speed for me? Was greater than Usyk's for the majority of his career.

Tyson also on attack has a better defense. Usyk's defense is his movement, up close at mid-range or on the inside 'Usyk's defense is not highly sophisticated, it is more so fundamental and basic'.

Usyk has not really shown that he can fight the kind of fight Holyfield did vs Mike Tyson. And even that version of Tyson, in my opinion would just be too dangerous for Usyk.

I rate Usyk extremely highly within this era of Heavyweights, he is the most accomplished active fighter in the sport of boxing 'But that does not mean he can suddenly start bashing up super elite all-time great Heavyweights like Mike Tyson'.

Statistically even as a Champion, people must understand that there are currently no active Heavyweight Champions greater than Mike Tyson etc.

Usyk beats most heavy weights ,but Mike isn’t one . Probably the worst match up for a Usyk type . If Mike is off however Usyk is good enough to win 4, 5 rounds and make it a competitive fight lasting the distance but more then not I think Mike stops him .

He did in parts and other parts he just out-boxed him they fought twice the second time Mike knew what was coming and fouled his way out of the fight rather than being stopped again, Douglas made him look like a no-skills puncher, Mike was not a very good boxer he was all about power and intimidation.

No he never boxed on the outside behind a jab.

He came in low with a clinch game

The fight was not a walk in the park for Holyfield 'Mike Tyson fought hard until the stoppage'.

Mike Tyson had a better defense and offense than Usyk. At his peak, there are not many Heavyweights with a better defense than Mike Tyson.

In all of those fights you mention mate, even during a loss Mike Tyson forced his opponents beyond their limits.

If Mike Tyson was a bad boxer, how come no Heavyweight or boxer since has duplicated his style? No fighter has duplicated his style, because no fighters have been advanced enough on the offense to achieve that.

Mike Tyson stylistically would just be too much for Usyk 'Tyson has faster hand speed than Usyk, and would be the most powerful puncher he has ever fought'.

Mike Tyson has no bad loses on his record in my opinion. No opponent blasted him out, and it took literally everything for his opponents to forced the stoppage 'Mike Tyson always fought hard until there was no more. It took 28 - 30 + punch combinations for Heavyweights weighing over 260 pounds to deck him in the latter stages of his career' I.E Danny Williams.

Even during his loses Mike Tyson always displayed attributes that you would of wanted to see in a great fighter.

In my opinion Uysk quite simply does not have the punching power, or physical brute strength to really beat Mike Tyson 'There is no evidence of this currently right now as we speak'

Micheal Spinks was essentially the Usyk of the 80's 'Mike Tyson blasted him out in 91 seconds'.

Usyk has two wins over Joshua, Spinks had two wins over Holmes 'Superior wins than Usyk's victories over Joshua. Beating Larry Holmes, is a greater win than beating Anthony Joshua.

Usyk was a Olympic Champion, Spinks was a Olympic Champion.

Usyk was the Undisputed World Cruiser-weight Champion, Spinks was the Undisputed World Light Heavyweight Champion.

From what I have witnessed of Usyk, I really don't think it is a good match up for him etc.

I never understood this thing about "no fear". To some extent, every boxer "fears" each other. It's not like Holyfield knew it was guarantee he was going to win. He just tried his best. Mike's competition wasn't that great, but the only people that could beat him, were boxers that could take a punch, and could box extremely well.

but tbf Mike’s invincibility at this time could be done mostly to bad competition. Buster Douglas whipped that ass when Mike was absolute prime.
Mike was way off for Japan with all the partying drugs and major jet lag

And as far as Fury and Lennox.when mike was really at full speed the prime of his life he would be able to close the distance and avoid those big jabs to land his own mustard

Personally think he would ko both fury and Lennox in his absolute prime

By the time Lennox fought him he didn't have the foot speed or head movement but in his absolute prime that uppercut Lewis landed on tyson trying to get inside would be landing

Prime Mike was a force of nature.

He would be too much for Usyk who at times struggles with ordinary heavyweights.
