  • Comments Thread For: Jorge Masvidal Remains Confident of Beating Jake Paul in Boxing Ring

MMA veteran Jorge Masvidal still feels confident in his ability to shock social media star turned boxer, Jake Paul. Paul, who turned pro in 2020, has overcome several MMA fighters in the ring - especially those, like Masvidal, who competed in the UFC.

Another retired MMA guy chasing the Paul payday for a whooping. Game bred was a good “boxer” within the confines of MMA rules but no doubt hed get starched in a ring like when Usman murked him.

Back yard bummer looking to get a payday while Jake exposes MMA for the frauds for what they truly are. They can't even beat a novice division amateur in Jake Paul, LMAO. Jake Paul is a genius and I'm grateful to have him wrecking these dummies.

Why doesnt he go fight them in their actual sport to "expose" them instead of fighting them under rulesets that ban like 80% of MMA skills?

Its like saying boxers get "exposed for frauds" when they get taken down and tapped out inside 5 mins in MMA.

            Different sports.

Because he doesn't have to. But he did say he was interested so whatever.

MMA skills? Just like hands, they're novice at all the tools.

Some old and well past-it boxers have been tapped. Some that were not so bad have knocked champions out at their own game and Dana avoided some guys in their prime who had big amateur wrestling backgrounds (Cintron, Alvardo, etc) because he knew they would do exactly what Jake has done =---> expose MMA as a bunch of charlatans. Dana is selling knockouts, end of story.

MMA is hardly a sport, more like a hodge-podge of fighting skills where even those considered the best at hands, are less than amateurs at best. Like Anderson Silva, they said he had the best hands ever =---> well a less than novie amateur put him on his arse and dominated him. He tried going pro years and years ago when he was in his prime and got wrecked at The WIld Card gym by a nobody noname.

MMA is a scam for people who want to see knockouts. Put some padding on those gloves and they lose the fan base. Those gloves are like rocks. An elderly woman could get knockouts with those.

The only form of combat that MMA doesnt have plentiful access to elite talent from is boxing, because of the pay. Other than that there is and always has been guys in MMA that have competed at the highest levels in wrestling, BJJ, judo, kickboxing etc.

Also, even when guys arent specialists in any one particular area and are true "MMA" guys, I dont know how anyone could look at guys like Volk, Jones, DJ, Fedor etc and not come to the conclusion that they're insanely skilled professional fighters who deserve respect. We arent talking BKFC or Power Slap here.
