tartan twat doesnt give a crap now, he milked his titles for what they were worth & sold them to teo on a trip to NY, hes actually probably delighted his shafted catterall in the process, nasty piece of work i would say

" . . the second fight was continuously postponed until both boxers decided to go in different directions."

No, Taylor went in a different direction - after doing all he could to avoid a rematch.

Would have been a pretty big fight for a world title.

Now, it's a pretty big UK fight, at least I think it still is

That fight has lost it's luster, it should've taken place over a year ago.

Eddie is just doing his usual promoter schtick. He knows that fight lost its lustre after Taylor ran away at light speed from the rematch initially. Now that Taylor got beaten badly by Teofimo the only purpose of this fight would be to set the record straight after the deplorable decision in the first fight. Clearly Jack versus Teo would make more sense but that's much higher risk than the Taylor fight given Teo doesn't go off the rails again.

A rematch would be a mismatch. Catterall best him like a rented mule in the first fight and would do even worse the second time. Totally pointless fight. Unless you hate Taylor.
