How do you underestimate Spence? He was at his peak, top 10 ATG and P4P #1 when Crawbum beat him.

He’s starting to stir the pot in case this fight eventually happens. They’ll use this as build up. Prior to this he was praising Bud as a great fighter and giving him his respect. Now that Bud said he’s willing to go up in weight, it seems like Canelo wants to start building up hype for a potential clash.

He should have had fights like Spence years ago and been a household name making top guy money.

With the exception of Mayweather, Lara and ggg, all other has been borderline mediocre, moskey and cotto were past their prime, and you can argue that against that he should have a least two loses cs Lara and ggg. Spence is a better win without controversy than any on canelo's resume.

Canelo lost to all the best in prime fighters he faced, the refs spotted him 1st 4 rounds with Bivol, he lost to a old GGG and he won't fight the best in his own division, and decides to fight a 154 lb champion two weights below him.
