Let's hope for the best here. I think we are all assuming Bomac did not buy the gun in the UK. That would change the equation considerably.

now that would be something, imagine going overseas to buy a guy & bringing it back to the states, i think a judge would be looking at him going thinking wtf

He won't get locked up but he'll be banned from entering the UK again.

There must be more to the story. It's possible that he accidently packed it and it cleared on the way in. I'm sure that he realized that he had it but figured that he might get away with it leaving the country as well. Highly doubtful that he intentionally packed it!

yes u mean its there by accident, he then gets to his room in the uk, looks for his lucky pants and shock horror pulls out a GUN, oh crap he calls the guys in & says what will i do here, they say, just leave it they wont find it, they didnt on the way in, but they did find it
