Comments Thread For: Eubank: 'Fighters Like Me and Liam, Going Out there Clean ... Not Giving Up"

Chris Eubank Jr. insists his rematch with Liam Smith brought prizefighting a much-needed boost of honesty. Last Saturday night in Manchester, England, Eubank turned back the lone stoppage loss of his career with a dominant 10th-round technical knockout of Smith.

Did you watch it? The stadium was full. It was the only fight that got any decent coverage this weekend. ACROSS THE WORLD. let those last three words sink in. Why was there no activity in the USA this weekend? It's because boxing is not even a top 5 sport in the USA. So the writers at Boxing Scene are going to focus on where boxing is actually taking place.

You will see the same thing in a few weeks time when Leigh Woods fights Josh Warrington. Smallish fight - big event.

For what it was, it was a great evening for Englishmen. But Jr. is acting like he and Liam are frontrunners in the fight for clean boxing.

If I were made to cut that much weight by a guy who later popped, I'd be mad, too.

Already confirmed by Smith last week that you guys haven't been tested during camp so who knows for sure.
