Yes, then why has his opportunities come in Europe? Surely with such a built in market top rank would of put the financial muscle behind him due to the return on investment.
Mexican boxing fan's definitely support there fighters but that doesn't mean he's selling enough to be disparaging Ramirez drawing power. It's a cheap excuse nothing more & nothing less.

Europe was where the belts were.

Robeisy is Cuban and they are generally seen as boring.

Doesn't matter though, does it? He's a celebrity in Japan. Why else are Americans flying over to Japan to fight him?

Who cares if nobody in America knows his name. I doubt many Americans could name 5 active professional boxers who aren't youtubers.

Yes, and if Lopez market draw was good enough, then he could of brought Warrington to America or his first defence against Conlan could of been in America but they weren't because Lopez market value isn't anything to shout home about Mexican or not.

Yes, but people aren't buying tickets based on misguided stereotypes are they ? If they are then we would have to question the promoters. Robeisy isn't boring and he's no worse a draw then Lopez in my eyes.

Lopez’ market draw isn’t good enough to make more money fighting in America than he did fighting Warrington in the UK.

But his market draw is bigger than Robeisy Ramirez. No doubt in my mind.

So are you agreeing with Lopez's management? In terms of Lopez draw is so much bigger than Robeisy it justifies them prioritising fights over the unification.

Has Lopez even headlined a card for Top Rank in America? I think Joet is his first headlining show.

What a laughable reason to duck this fight. Lopez has just let Ramirez know that he doesn't believe he can win the fight. But don't worry, we can watch him against big time fighters and sellers like Joet.

Inoue should find Lopez a more attractive opponent financially than Robeisy, and Lopez obviously finds Inoue a more attractive opponent financially than Robeisy.

Thats where I’m at with it.

Yes but why would Inoue bother with Lopez or Robeisy when he's got Casimero and Tapales. The point remains Lopez isn't a big enough draw to disparage Robeisy.

However, I got a solution for Lopez, it's Gervonta Davis, that's more attractive than Inoue.

But if you don't get Inoue, you'll for sure face Ramirez and not some random guy ranked 19th in the world?

Fulton got the Inoue fight because he was seen as the top guy in the division. Time for the featherweights to prove who the best is if they want to tempt him up in weight.
