I don't think anyone understands PBC boxing. Why is Jermall being allowed to hold his MW titles hostage for over two years without defending it? The PBC protection plan prevented some great fights from happening. They kept their best at 147 away from Crawford for years...Danny, Thurman, Spence. Tank has been protected from Loma, Haney, Shakur, Teo. Wilder padded his record against no-hopers for 39 fights. Jermell had one of the easiest paths to undisputed than any other fighter. Stevenson ducked the best at 175 until he was finally exposed.

The resident race hustlers on this forum worship PBC because it is black owned. That is the only reason. Big Dunn, Amir Iman, Roadblock, McDonalds etc., are all PBC fanboys because it's Haymon. If Haymon sold PBC to non-black buyer they'd all jump off the PBC bandwagon. Dunn himself is on record defending them as a black owned business, so I'm not pulling this out of thin air. We all know why there is such tribalism in boxing. Floyd and his fans divided the sport in such a way they now worship promoters, networks, managers, certain refs, etc. It's a very strange time to be a boxing fan. When Crawford was signed with Top Rank, apparently he wasn't "black enough" until he finally signed with PBC to get the fight he was chasing for the last few years. All that time they insisted it was Bud ducking Spence. Now we know the truth.

TR has a great eye for talent. Their stable is small but they have the toughest fighters. They occasionally go for cheesy gimmick fighters but their guys generally are the best. Only issue is Bob isnt doing work with others unless it meets his high financial expectation. His business idea is telling from the way he pays his fighters guaranteed minimums, Bob isnt taking any risks, he wants his guarantee.

This is true, and I'd add on that they have terrific matchmakers for developing their fighters, as much as it is sometimes frustrating - I'd love to see them be a bit more ambitious with Keyshawn, no reason why he isn't ready to go Ortiz then Kambosos for his next two after this. He's got the talent.
