True. But Mayweather was never even brash like that towards his opponents. Plus it's 2023, not 2013. Alot can be accomplished in a decade and in that timeframe no one has accomplished more than Canelo even with his ups and downs. He deserves the respect of his peers with the way he carries himself(at least on camera) and their demeanor towards him shows. He sits on the throne in the sport and they all know it which is why everybody gunning for him and the bag that comes with it.

Who cares about Matchroom, PBC, Top Rank, Queensbury and any other stable? Why are fans cheerleading promotional companies and why are fighters bickering over them?

Let's be honest these promotional outfit's are holding the sport back in an attempt to protect their interests. Occasionally, there willing to take the risk only for a massive upside.

I'll never know what these people proud about being with PBC. A platform that lets them fight part time. His own twin brother hasn't fought in more than 2 years. He himself has been fighting once a year for 3 years now. Is this something to be proud about? They're seen more often watching in the audience barking and growling than seen in the ring.
