The 10 count is not 10 seconds (but being up within the 10 count, even on 10, means you are up), Dubois was hurt and tired, but wasn't out. I am not saying he would've won, he was losing on points, but the stoppage was a bit forced. Anyway, for a big percentage of the fans, this fight will be forever controversial for multiple reasons. What's left to see is the outcome of the appeal.

If you stay down until 9/9.5 you're asking the ref to stop the fight. Everyone knows this.

And he was looking like he wanted to quit vs Lerena, but I thought he overcome this quitting thing when he didn't quit that night. But idk how you are supposed to get rid of your desire to quit when it gets hot in the kitchen when its ingrained into someone.

Lots of fighters with losses on resume. Can't call them quitters..Just because you have losses don't make you a quitter. Just means your opponent was better

Losing & Quitting ain't the same thing. You can lose without quitting. DDD has quit in both his L's. Plenty of guys have more L's but never quit.
