Why would they do that? The man is 33 and he has a rematch clause and can get a huge bag. If he was 26 then I’d say build yourself up again. But the man is old and there’s not many big paydays out there.

He can make good money elsewhere, they’ll sell the Thurman fight as a grudge match and it’ll probably sell quite well and assuming Spence wins you can still make the Crawford rematch down the line- not that I have much interest in it tbh. Crawford is the superior fighter, case closed.

How many buys do you think the rematch does? Like 500k at most I reckon, the intrigue is no longer there after how one sided the fight was.
