He has 9 fights. Why would Benavidez fight someone with no profile while trying to build his own?

Yes, 3 more fights, not one, two, but three. And you're telling me Morrell has the only right to dictate the time of the fight whenever he wants it? You gotta be an idiot to be dictated by some nobody.
That was not a bluff, but was the first fight with Shields, fast forward two fights, not three, and Shields gave the okay to call out benavidez. And this time, silence.

I thought Benavidez won a title from Plant? If he’s not a champ then yeah, he’s avoiding Morrell for a big pay day. Morrell don’t bring that to the table yet.

Did you know that benavidez started fighting the same level of opposition Morrell Jr has, in his 14 or 15 fight. Did you know he's the #1 ranked for the WBA and interim Belt holder, just like benavidez. He's the mandatory for for canelo. This is a natural fight as it gets. Only fanboys wouldn't want to see this fight, for fear that benavidez could lose the fight, in a bad manner.

morrell hasn't even had double digit fights yet and you guys are ready to crown him lol not so fast. Give him a few more fights before throwing into the deep end of the pool.

How is Morrell being ranked 1 in the WBA and the Canelo mandatory with the WBA make it a natural fight with Benavidez? I think you meant its a natural fight for Canelo, which is true.

Probably wants it to a bigger fight when they do fight. At the level of the game we talk about its as much a business as a sport if not more business than sport. This isn't some backyard argument sheeeeeet. The only thing you get for fighting a legit guy early is the respect of some small segment of hardcore fans. Boxers wanna get PAID when they are fighting their risker opps. I'd be lying if I said I'm a huge fan of the business of boxing but is a part of the sport that fans should realize is happening a whole lot more often then the ducking stuff fans to love to throw around loosey goosey. So it is what it is.
