Benavidez is not a prospect he is a 2 time wc and the established No 1 contender in the division for 3 years, while Morrell is a kid with 9 fights and never even fought a top 10 guy. Pretending they are on the same career level is insulting. Morrell brings literally zero to Benavidez , no real belts, no ranking position, no money, only a moron would waste his time fighting him at this stage of his career.

Ok, Morrel jr. brings nothing for him, but we must also say Canelo has no obligation to fight Benavidez. Canelo can do whatever he wants, he can fight Crawford.
