2. Spence went to the UK to fight Brook in 2017
3. Jeff Lacy went to the UK to fight Calzaghe in 2007
4. Malignaggi went to fight Ukraine to fight Senchenko in 2012

These are off the top of my head. Pretty sure there’s more.
So your definition of “unproven” is very misplaced.
If Kamboso had actually won his last fight, Shakur would have gone to Australia. There is nothing to suggest that Shakur wouldn’t travel to Australia if he was in the same boat as Haney.

The word “unproven” is typically used on boxers one does not like. So, do you not like Shakur?

Those four examples I gave ALL have had a better career than Kamboso will have.

Kamboso beating one guy does not anoint him a HoF or a threat. He was NEVER going to beat Haney and will never beat Shakur.

You are dismissing Spence and Bud’s wins but the bottom line is they did travel overseas.
