Usyk is a very good fighter, no doubt, but he has a glass body. That was a textbook uppercut that landed on the waistband of Usyk's trunks like many other body uppercuts in many other fights from the boxing history. The ref was doing a poor job anyway. If Usyk is a fair person, he should give Daniel a rematch.

I cannot say this enough. Loma does the exact same thing. He whines, complains. It is like Ukraine itself. They cry to the ref (the US) when anything bad happens but they are corrupt to the core.Comment

Did it against glowacki too I can’t believe people are actually saying this was a low blow. Usyk has a history of doing this. Tried to say beterbiev low blowed him in the amateurs hit the deck when glowacki volleyed his body and now the Dubois incident. 3 times. It’s not a coincidence that it’s happened 3 times nowComment

It was a combination of a lack of whining /complaining and Laurence Cole's incompetence that allowed Salido to essentially mug Loma in his second pro fight. I think he took a lot more from that fight than just the loss.Comment

This is the congregation of the sometimes boxing fans it seems. Lord help these blind mofos. You can see the man’s belly button the second before Dubois throws his punch which means the shorts are below the belly button meaning any shot on the belt or beneath is low….65 slow no videos, 6 million screen captures and folks are still reaching for straws to call it a legal shot. A one sided fight and folks are really trying to give this fight to Dubois for some reason. Gtfoh….objectivity in boxing is nuts these days. I don’t like x fighter so I’m gonna do anything I can to argue he ain’t shhhh. This is boxing today.Comment

On the belt line isn’t low. That’s what you fail to realize, unless a fighter is wearing his trunks low. Refs meet fighters center ring to explain this to the fighter and the trainer. The ref is always clear before a fight when he says this is low, but this won’t be considered low. And he says this based off of seeing them before round 1. Most look to see where the guys belt line is and most if not all have their own set of low punch boundaries as to what is considered low. There’s no universal rule that the belt line is considered low. Refs matter…Comment
