Anything below the naval is a low blow because it drives the cup into your testicles. Also punching someone in the bladder can be paralyzing and even kill them.

The clearest angle shows the punch below the naval, with all of dubious gloves hitting his shorts area. So as per rules it was an illegal shot.Comment

It was low and Usyk used the extra time to his advantage. It's a veteran move! Made up controversy! I'm glad my Usyk by stoppage paid off at the sportsbooks. Lord knows that I have lost my share but winning is sweeeeeeet!

I'm surprised at how many people are saying it was a legal shot.
1 - You don't fold immediately like that from a body shot with that look on your face.
2 - More importantly, you can see stills of the lower knuckles clearly landing low. His shorts would not have shot upwards if it landed above the belt.
3 - Any punch that lands below the belly button is low. That punch may not have hit Usyk square in the nuts, but it was low. If a punch lands anywhere on your cup, it's going to hurt your balls.Comment

Also why do people say one punch can change a fight in heavyweight boxing? There are kos in all weights!Comment
