If usy k really couldve carried on, he shouldve been red carded and sent off for taking a dive and acting.
But it probably was low blow but not so obvious to the ref, that he shouldn't think ddd scored a legit knockdown

Don't know why this is so complicated to people. It's easy to see from the images that the glove landed right on the belt, except a small portion of it was below the belt line.

Real question should be, do all portion of the glove have to be under the belt line to declare it a below-the-belt violation?

Clearly this was a legal body shot and Daniel Dubios was robbed of a knockdown and by the looks of it, a knockout.

Any shot landing below the navel is illegal.

The top of Usyk's waistband was level with his navel.

That punch clearly landed below the top of Usyk's waistband, which was level with Usyk's navel.

So what you posted there is clear irrefutable proof that Usyk was hit by an illegal punch.

Either usyk was acting or that was a good body shot KO. No way it was a punch on the balls.

A punch doesn't need to land on the balls to be illegal.

If it lands anywhere below the navel, it is a low blow and a foul.

No, mate, the top of Usyk's waistband is the "beltline".

If punches above that black line had been allowed, the ref would have indicated that during during his pre-fight instructions and told them, "above here is ok"

He didn't do that, so the whole of the waistband was out of bounds.

i laugh hard every time someone tells me Usyk is unbeatable. or Zhang or Wilder can't beat him.


Usyk has gotten very lucky himself. he should have 1 KO losses minimum to Dubois. Usyk is 1 punch from being KOed by someone that can hit.


He could've easily lost the Breidis fight as well. it was razor close.
