TopRank fighters been complaining a lot lately. Jared says he’s broke. Him and Shakur should call Al.

With this mindset and the skillset he displayed against Charles Martin, he'll get KO'd hard AF by a gatekeeper before he ever gets to a major money fight.

Not the first time he has made such concerning comments. Basically it's a warning to everyone: don't bother following this guy's career, as even his heart isn't in it, why the hell should the fans tune in or get invested? I don't think boxing is for him. His talk is that of a journeyman, he don't care about legacy or anything just money.

The comment sections on this site kill me. Apparently, Anderson is going to knocked out by a journeyman because he wants to get paid? You guys act like he’s looking at his bank account all day instead of training. I don’t see the same hate for Tyson Fury as he openly ducks being undisputed. I remember Ricky Fielding got praise for “feeding his family” when he was a crash test dummy for Canelo.

every time he opens his mouth, I'm sure he loses a few potential fans. Someone at Top Rank needs to coach this kid on some good PR. If he wants to maximize his earnings, he needs to build up a strong fanbase.

There isn't ever enough money. This is nothing new, its everybodies plan. The thing is, they can make millions and still wind up broke. Vultures are everywhere, the smell of money attracts them.

These young hip hop fighters rather have some ***elry on that someone else is willing to kill you for than make a proper investment then wonder why they don’t have money at the end. No stock, real estate, or investments come to mind on most boxer’s like 99% of them! If you a heavyweight fighting often and you are rated all you have to do is be creative and not blow it, start having babies by sack chasers etc. The kid no doubt has the talent to make lots of money without even being champion but you must make smart decisions and stay away from the ***ler and all other hip hop fads.

BAD OUTLOOK And one that is almost sure to backfire on Anderson. Ali, Joe Louis, Tyson, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns etc....all spoke of the desire to be the BEST And how being a Champion was not only a prestigious mantle to ascend to but it was the PRIMARY REASON they sacrificed so hard to get to that level. Yes the financial benefits were also a factor but it wasn't the overriding factor as it is today. Those men actually CARED about being a worthy Champion and it showed in their resumes.
But fast forward to today and we can directly attribute this Buinessman FIRST and fighter distant second to the creation of the infamous MONEY MAYWEATHER personna that started this trend of low risk high reward. And we see it taken to another level now with Canelo Alvarez. And the PBC system definitely adhered to that trend for years.
Anderson in all reality is a hype job. He has several flaws he needs to address before he can even make a ridiculous statement like that. His victory over Charles Martin was not anything to give flowers over. That notwithstanding I don't see Anderson as having a strong mental fortitude that is required for this sport and the moment he suffers his 1st loss and he WILL, I have to question his resilience in overcoming a set back. All it takes is ONE punch at the right time.

What a Bum. How would you feel if your favorite QB all of a said I’m just trying to make as much money as I can and retire, not in it for legacy or glory just for the money. That’s what Jared Anderson is doing.
