Nelson was sh**. I’ve never seen a fighter with a more revisionist career. Fake world champion who defended a fake belt for years against C class opposition or worse. I remember seeing a feature on Sky suggesting Nelson vs Usyk, Holyfield etc like it would be competitive. Absolutely laughable.

And this makes him ill-positioned to have a view on Dubois having quit in him, how exactly?

I think it's a bit of a harsh view, considering how Dubois soldiered on for many rounds with a horrible eye injury, but Nelson is entitled to have that view and it's not based on nothing.

And I’m almost positive he doesn’t watch or enjoy boxing.

He can’t, with the nonsense he comes out with.

I wouldnt call that Joyce loss a quit. A guy getting stopped on a bad cut has nothing on an injury like that.

The remarks about quitting are nonsense - it depends on the fighter. Israel Vazquez quit in his first fight against Rafael Marquez. The next two fights completed one of the greatest trilogies with Vazquez on top (TKO & SD). Neither hall of fame fighter was the same after.
