While it happened in real time, Spence looked good, then he slowly just looked over hyped.

He said that he, "was a grown man, and that he would not make any excuses."
And the first thing he said was, "my timing was off."
    That was an excuse.

Errol Spence on Crawford vs Charlo: ”If I ain’t fighting him he can’t fight Jermell!”

Will he say the same thing about Crawford vs Canelo?

Enough said, honestly speaking, Errol Spence acted like a entitled diva, and what amounts were settled on, he got way to much, and did not deserve it.

I've seen $20 million each with Spence getting the 80/20 split of ppv.

“Rafael added that Crawford and Spence drew a gate of over $20 million at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as well. Crawford and Spence reportedly earned at least $25 million apiece from the bout with Spence earning a slightly higher percentage of the purse despite his loss“

Highest grossing fighter where? Spence generated more. Crawford lost more so much his promoter dropped him while he was a champion. Paid less? Check the purses. It’s wrong because Spence side put up the money. Nobody was willing to gamble and put up any money for Crawford. Hearn, and Arum said they weren’t interested in working with Crawford. If it wasn’t for PBC/Haymon he’d still be fighting on Blk Prime earning 2M fighting the Avenysans of the world.

$25M or $20M each, that sounds fair to me. Spence getting the larger slice of the PPV revenue is fair as well and eases the pain of his loss. Since Spence has a rematch clause it is possible the same terms will apply.

Full credit to Spence for that. But no way does Shakur walk accross the street to PBC and get Davis or Martin on a silver platter. After that whoopin Errol got, I think Al is going to be a lil more firm on his advise.

Well Bud is partly right; Because there was no way that Al Haymon was about to let Terence Crawford to twist his arm in order to make the fight happen.

Therefore, in order to salvage the fight; EJ had to share portions of his percentage and purse split with Crawford.

Because Showtime and the PBC wasn’t about to give Bud another single dime more or less than what they had originally offered him.

You guys act like a loss is the worst thing ever. Guys like Spence and Wilder aren’t putting up Mayweather numbers so there comes a time when they become overpaid. Spence has already peaked as a fighter so he loses at the perfect time. When Wilder said someone spiked his water Haymon was my primary suspect at the time.

I dont understand what he means by giving up too much? Is he referring to the money he got for that ass whooping wasnt enough? If, so then I agree with Spence, because that was a once in a life time, billion dollar ass whooping.

I think the rematch clause has different language than the first contract.
