Floyds prime was as a LW if you consider prime to mean the best version, he was not in prime himself as a WW, he fought most of his career with injured hands, now that is how Mayweather was at WW, what does it mean when his opponents were all within a few years of the same era, including the young guns like Canelo Hatton etc to the transitionals like Mosley Oscar , to beat these guys coming from a LW where he was an aggressive take you out guy, and having to fight more defensive and beat the higher weight guys with brains is the reason Floyd is highly respected in boxing because he beat everyone and did it with brilliant boxing ability, Im not talking fans and their BS, Im talking fighters trainers insiders, the top guy now Crawford just said in his opinion Floyd is the GOAT , its because TC knows what he did and how he did it.

What he did at lower weights prior to getting to Floyd cemented his legacy. Marquez, Morales, Barrera all 3 are top 15 ATG and Manny beat them prime. Plus Manny came back and beat a Prime Thurman.
