Queensbury Promotions and Fury are typical reasons why boxing is dying. This crap breaks my heart.

He will not do it soon, he doesn't want to train for serious opponents. He is lazy, not consistent. But in same time he wants to keep the belt. So, he will fight only when he must in order not to lose a belt. Or when something happens in his head and he starts to get motivated. His head is crazy.
He is extremely talented and lazy at the same time. If he was disciplined and motivated all the time, he would be the best boxer of all time, but because he is not, he is the biggest fraud and lier.Last edited by James; 08-23-2023, 05:10 AM.Comment

Fury doesn’t think he can beat Usyk. Simple as that. Fury seems to believe Usyk will dance around him for 36 minutes, slapping him in the mouth, then darting away, and at the end of the fight, Usyk will have his hand raised. It would be a reprise of the ridiculous affair when Fury did much the same thing to Wladimir Klitschko.Comment

why didn't usyk's team just agree to fury's terms. I remember reading that usyk's manager got up and literally walked out of a meeting with fury's team lol. now they are willing to do whatever it takes to fight fury? LOL what?

Hows that?
He's the Heavyweight Champion of the World until he either dies, retires for 3 years or gets beaten.
Charles Martin's trinkets mean nothing.
That's reality.Comment

Nobody here was present during those those negotiations, yet EVERYBODY'S somehow formulated an opinion. Typical.
And most fans/posters here are blaming the big guy, calling him "Scared". Also Typical.
But I read exactly what you read, and I agree with You!
Fury is the champion and Usyk is merely a beltholder. Fury gets to dictate the terms.
that's how it is.
Wilder, Whyte, Chisora and MMA G.O.A.T. Ngannou all accepted those terms.
Usyk, Joshua and Ruiz didn't.
Shows that some fighters are more driven to succeed than others.

Except that.....Fury's masterpiece humiliation that ended the Klitschko era happed, while the other fight exists only in your head.Fury doesn’t think he can beat Usyk. Simple as that. Fury seems to believe Usyk will dance around him for 36 minutes, slapping him in the mouth, then darting away, and at the end of the fight, Usyk will have his hand raised. It would be a reprise of the ridiculous affair when Fury did much the same thing to Wladimir Klitschko.
And should Daniel Dubois leave nothing on the table and trap Usyk in corner after corner to demolish him, you'll be among the first to proclaim "Usyk was never anything", like Fury disrespecters have done with all the would-be Fury slayers who tripped and fell on their way to the throne room.
Am I right?Comment

He did retire, Usyk is the HW champion of the world, he became so by beating AJ who beat Wlad when they were the top 2 rated fighters after Fury's retirement. He is the WBC champion which is just a trinket now since they allow him to fight UK journeymen who he's friends with for defenses.Comment
