TBE is SRR for boxing historians. We gotta admit it. But, there is no ultimate TBE in boxing you're right.
Lists that make absolutes are funny AF
''No way is he #10. 42 at best !''

    Pure opinion

These so called so called impartial fight fans crack me up.
I wouldn't be surprised if GGG would have beaten those SRR beat.
This is why no one is in a rush to dive into his resume.

IMHO, SRR benefited from being the best when the pickings were slim.
I don't think be beat anyone special.

Canelo will be the GOAT of Mexican Boxing.

Canelo Alvarez will be considered an ATG.

Being Mexican GOAT ain't that impressive. He is already #1 Mexican OAT since long time ago.

        Chavez, Olivares, Saldivar, Marquez. eh...

Canelo's main purpose gotta be surpassing SRR, Greb, Langford, Armstrong etc..

People will talk about his losses and close fights. Newsflash, that’s what happens when you fight prime, dangerous, or highly skilled, and avoided fighters of your era. You come out with a black eye, beat up, some wins, some losses. It fcking happens.

Say what you want about Canelo, his resume ain’t fcking lacking great fighters. Win or lose. He’s fought all kinds of styles, slick, brawler, power punchers, big, small, medium, fought in all kinds of weight classes. When he’s gone, and you’re stick with these ducking ass fighters scared to lose their 0, scared to fight slick defensive fighters, scared to fight KO artists, scared to fight taller fighters…that’s when Canelo’s resume is going to stand out.

We can already see how much Mayweather’s resume stands out now, after all the hate. More people see that what Mayweather did was special. Well, what Canelo did is special in its own right. You can’t complain about this man not fighting great fighters. He fcking did that.

Truth is, there is no TBE.
Too many factors are involved to single out ANY one person.
We both know you don't have the confidence to discuss SRR's resume without referring to what you've read

In a Fantasy Fight match, who knows for sure if Nelo could NOT have destroyed everyone SRR fought ?
            Including SRR himself ?
            And vice versa...
Could SRR beat those Nelo fought

Now, you will lol at the thought as if you have proof Nelo would fail.
That would be you regurgitating instead of investigating.

            Have fun
A ridiculous argument, to be sure. How else can we discuss SRR's resume, except it be based on what we read? How many of Robinson's 201 fights are recorded? Even if you're old AF, you couldn't and didn't see all of his fights. Suddenly, the written word and opinions of other greats of the sport mean nothing, because you disagree. You tried to suggest earlier that Robinson's resume is not that good, because virtually anyone who could lace 'em up fought in those days to put money on the table. How much money could a bum fighter make in those days, to get his brains knocked out? Canelo never took a fight where he wasn't favored to win. And that's not because he is some super boxer who was forged in the heavens. He's a good boxer who picks his opponents very carefully. Mayweather and Bivol were his only miscalculations so far.

You do know at least 17 fights are readily viewable dontcha ?
But here you are, willing to blindly take someone elses words for shlt...

Stop wasting my time in the pursuit of winning this debate.
Improbable unless you start thinking for yourself

Until a fighter beats the ass of every, and I do mean every, other ass that ever fought, there can never be A TBE
''Beating every MFers ass that ever fought ?!?!? That's ludicrous !''
Just as ludicrous as there being a singular TBE.

                BHOF goes by eras
Going by how it was written, SRR was TBOHE (of his era).

Nelo can lay claim to being the best of his era.

So, you're saying that you can base your assessment of Robinson on 17 viewable fights out of 201? I rest my case.

                    Someone else's ?
Did you even watch him fight ?

King Nelo is already a first ballot HOFer, ATG, and will probably go down as the mexican GOAT when all it's said and done

not a bad resume at all
